Job summary

R&R Facilities in Mooresboro, NC is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician / Handyman to keep our buildings in good repair. You will perform light repairs and routine upkeep both indoors and outdoors.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of handyman or maintenance experience, can safely use power tools and lawn equipment, and can lift up to 75 lbs. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of handyman or maintenance experience.
• Ability to use power tools and lawn equipment safely.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet for long periods.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Follow safety rules (OSHA/EPA) to keep yourself and others safe.
• Willingness to work some weekends or holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Yard & Grounds: Mowing, weed eating, trimming, and keeping the outside areas clean.
• General Repairs: Doing light fix-it jobs and repairs inside and outside the buildings.
• Safety Checks: Checking buildings and machines monthly to make sure everything is safe.
• Reporting: Let the manager know if you find a big problem that needs a specialist.
• Record Keeping: Keep simple notes on the maintenance work you finish.
