Job summary

DARCARS Automotive Group seeks a Maintenance Technician / Handyman to support our facilities team across dealership locations in the DC metro area. You will perform preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and inspections to ensure safety and comfort for staff and customers.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of building maintenance or handyman experience, a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years’ experience in building maintenance or handyman work.
• Strong communication and the ability to coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment (HVAC, filters).
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and handyman tasks.
• Document regular facilities inspections and report findings.
• Recommend maintenance initiatives to supervisors and assist teammates.
• Operate a company vehicle as required.

DARCARS Automotive Groupis seeking a Maintenance Technician / Handyman

Potential Earning Based on Experience 60K-65K

Eastern Diversified Properties, Inc. (“EDP”), a subsidiary of the DARCARS Automotive Group, is looking for a Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our facilities team that services multiple automotive facilities in the Washington DC, Baltimore, Northern Virginia area.

This person will be an integral part in supporting EDP’s ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and comfort of employees and customers in our automotive dealership facilities. A company owned vehicle is provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment (i.e. HVAC System and Air Compressor Filters).
• Can perform basic plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Can perform basic electrical repairs.
• Can perform basic Handyman functions.
• Is involved with, and documents regular facilities inspections.
• Recommends maintenance initiatives to supervisors.
• Provides assistance to other team members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years’ experience with building maintenance or Handyman experience
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to coordinate a variety of different projects and on-going assignments.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Flexible with work schedule
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record with the ability to operate a truck safely and efficiently.
