Desimone Enterprises is seeking an experienced Maintenance technician for full-time work on rental homes and common areas in Kalamazoo, MI. The role includes performing repairs, landscaping, and basic equipment maintenance to keep facilities tidy and functional.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with water meters, electrical tools, and carpentry, plus the stamina for outdoor, physical tasks and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in residential properties.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical fixes.
• Comfort with outdoor work and physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor fixes to water meters including valve and gauge replacement.
• All residential constructions skills will be used at one point or another in common areas.
• Install mechanical, appliances, and equipment.
• Common area landscaping upkeep by mowing lawns, maintaining trees, spraying, edging.
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light fixtures, receptacles, plumbing repairs.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation).
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm).
• Heavy equipment experience a plus.
• Report to maintenance lead for issues.
