Job summary

Kane's Furniture is seeking a Maintenance Associate to perform a range of maintenance duties across our facility and warehouse equipment. The role focuses on wiring, electrical, plumbing, machinery, and equipment repair, with on-site testing and preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications include hands-on skills, the ability to read voltages with a volt meter, and forklift/dock plate familiarity; welding experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on skill-based competencies required to perform various maintenance tasks in a facility or warehouse setting.
• Ability to read and use volt meters to read AC/DC voltages.
• Experience with warehouse operations including forklift and dock plates is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair wiring, electrical components, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools, reassemble equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines and building systems running smoothly.
