Job summary

Meadow Falls of Richmond is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our community safe and comfortable. You will perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work, and support the upkeep of shared spaces and resident areas.

This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail‑oriented individual who can work independently or as part of a team, maintain accurate records of work and materials, and respond promptly to maintenance concerns while following safety

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Basic understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, appliances, and systems.
• Respond to resident concerns and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
