Job summary

Twin City Fan & Blower Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to build, install, maintain and repair production and building equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues and follow preventive maintenance schedules.

The role requires reading shop orders, blueprints and safety rules, plus basic math and use of hand tools. Depending on location, forklift or crane operations may be required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• 3+ years of experience or Technical Associates degree and 2 years experience
• Read and understand shop orders, blueprints, safety rules, and schematics
• Basic math to include fractions and decimals; read a tape measure
• Basic Microsoft Office required
• Ability to use hand tools safely
• May be required to operate forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack

Responsibilities

• Builds, installs, maintains, and repairs equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Read and interpret shop orders and diagrams.
• Follow a preventative maintenance schedule for machinery.
• Provide training for new technicians.
• Collaborate with manager to improve facility processes.
