Job summary

North Shore Gardens is seeking a Maintenance Technician for one of our apartment communities in Lexington, SC. The role supports all aspects of maintenance and repairs under the Maintenance Supervisor, with a culture that promotes from within and rewards effort.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and HVAC-related tasks, with opportunities for advancement and continued training. The position offers competitive hourly pay, full benefits, paid holidays and vacation time.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance within apartment communities preferred.
• Ability to perform electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry tasks.
• Willingness to respond to emergency maintenance and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Perform grounds maintenance and light landscaping.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on projects and work orders.
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry tasks and replacements.
• Read equipment manuals for required maintenance.
• Respond to emergencies after hours as needed.
