Job summary

IP Corporation, a long-established chemical manufacturer, seeks a Maintenance Technician to support safe, reliable plant operations in a Pryor Creek, OK facility. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on process equipment and utilities, manage work orders in the CMMS, and contribute to Mechanical Integrity and PSM programs.

The role emphasizes safety around hazardous materials, cross-training across classifications, and timely response to on-call requests.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Experience around pumps, valves, piping, motors, and rotating equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with lockout/tagout (LOTO).
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and practices safe work habits and follows procedures including LOTO and hot work permitting.
• Performs routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Conducts emergency and unscheduled repairs to maintain production continuity.
• Troubleshoots process equipment, piping, wiring, and PLC-controlled systems.
• Maintains rotating equipment such as pumps, agitators, and bearings; repairs as needed.
• Installs, modifies, and tests mechanical and electrical equipment to meet production needs.
• Maintains facility infrastructure and safety systems per regulatory requirements.
• Records maintenance data and work orders in the CMMS/EAM system.
• Supports Mechanical Integrity and PSM programs via inspections and PM tasks.
• Participates in training and mentoring of lower-class technicians.
