Job summary

CF Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair plant machinery at our Oklahoma facility. You will troubleshoot pumps, turbines, and compressors and perform preventive maintenance while upholding safety and cleanliness.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years with rotating equipment; overtime readiness; ability to lift up to 80 lbs; and the ability to train peers as experience grows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or Mechanic with rotating equipment.
• Ability to work overtime and respond to emergency callouts.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Foster collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot plant machinery, including pumps, turbines, and compressors.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, including tools and equipment.
• Conduct diagnostic and preventive maintenance on mechanical components.
• Use diagnostic skills to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Align shafts using appropriate measurement tools.
• Interpret repair manuals, procure parts, and follow manufacturer guidelines.
• Complete safe rigging and material handling operations.
• Participate in climbing and use of safety gear as needed.
• Coordinate with team members and provide training to peers as experience is gained.
• Follow directives and accomplish tasks independently.
