Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Sullivan in Littleton, CO. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep buildings safe and functional.

This full-time, hourly non-exempt role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities include inspections, repairs of HVAC/plumbing/electrical, responding to requests, and keeping records. Qualifications include a high school diploma and experience in building maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints and work orders.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or work in tight spaces.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license (if travel between sites is required).
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, fixtures and appliances.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, including janitorial duties when needed.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety codes and company policies.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist with building renovations, installations or furniture assembly.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and request replacements when necessary.
• Collaborate with contractors or vendors when specialized repairs are needed.
