Job summary

NRP Group in Venice, FL is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping to uphold curb appeal and apartment quality. You will assist with storage and materials, refurbish units, and respond to resident requests.

Under supervision, you will participate in safety meetings, handle after-hours calls, and ensure records are accurate. A high school diploma is required, with CFC certification preferred and within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CFC certification preferred; must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Computer proficiency appreciated for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial duties.
• Support storage area and maintenance materials management.
• Refurbish and renovate apartments per company standards.
• Walk property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of homes.
• Report safety concerns to Community Manager and participate in safety meetings.
• Handle service requests and respond to after-hours emergencies as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate records of tasks completed.
