Job summary

AkzoNobel in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine, preventive and emergency repairs on building and manufacturing equipment to ensure on-time delivery of quality products. Starting pay is $28-$29 hourly with overtime after 40 hours and a training period on first shift before transitioning to second or third shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with maintenance in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mechanical problems on assigned equipment and plan corrective actions.
• Perform minor repairs to facilities, lighting, and infrastructure.
• Conduct preventive/predictive maintenance and report potential issues to maintenance manager.
• Assist with equipment installations and ensure safe operation after repairs.
