North Shore Gardens in Gainesville, FL is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for one of our apartment communities. You will perform make-ready tasks, minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC maintenance, and general repairs to keep units market-ready.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance tasks in a residential setting.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and basic HVAC maintenance.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and perform preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Perform grounds work and light landscaping.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on projects and work orders.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and masonry tasks as needed.
• Diagnose problems and replace or repair parts.
• Respond to emergencies after hours as required.
• Maintain safety and clean work areas.
