Job summary

Hunter Engineering Company in Raymond, MS seeks a Technician, Maintenance to repair and maintain machinery and production equipment on the 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm, Monday-Friday). You will work with engines, motors, conveyor systems, and electrical components while following safety rules and company standards.

The role offers starting pay at $36.75 with a $0.50 shift differential, total pay $37.25, and opportunities for advancement in level and pay.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• AA degree highly desirable.
• Experience operating forklifts and working with electrical/mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety rules and wear PPE.
• Willing to work overtime or weekends as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment.
• Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts.
• Pull wire, connect and disconnect to electrical equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools to make repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints or manuals for repairs.
