Volunteer Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at our Grove at Hickory Valley apartment community in Chattanooga, TN. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems to keep residents safe and comfortable.

The role requires EPA certification or HVAC experience, at least 2 years in maintenance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification or HVAC experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multi-family/apartment settings.
• Working knowledge of building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Background and drug screening required.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Proof of valid vehicle insurance.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and complete work orders for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, and minor carpentry.
• Complete apartment turnovers and make-ready tasks.
• Ensure grounds, common areas, and amenities are clean and functional.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
