Volunteer Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at our apartment communities. The role focuses on repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and appliances, and performing routine maintenance to keep units and common areas in top condition.

The position also involves turnovers, on-call duties, and maintaining thorough records while adhering to safety policies. Excellent communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification or HVAC experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in multi-family settings.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
• Must provide proof of valid vehicle insurance and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete work orders for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, and minor carpentry.
• Complete apartment turnovers and make-ready tasks.
• Ensure grounds, common areas, and amenities are clean and functional.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
