APG is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Groundskeeper to care for Canopy West and Woodland Commons in Atlanta, splitting time between grounds and hands-on maintenance. You will handle turns, work orders, and general repairs to keep units move-in ready.

The role requires basic maintenance knowledge, willingness to help, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with match, life and disability insurance, and PTO/holiday pay are provided.

• Experience turning apartments and with the make-ready process.
• Some knowledge of plumbing, appliance, and drywall repair.
• Preventive maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs and stay on your feet for long periods.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain grounds at two Atlanta communities.
• Complete work orders including basic plumbing, appliance, and drywall repairs.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in with punch lists and make-ready turns.
• Remove trash and debris from vacant units.
• Support preventive maintenance at both communities.
• Assist the maintenance team as needed.
• Ensure residents are treated professionally and per Fair Housing requirements.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety practices.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Maintenance Technician / Groundskeeper keeps two neighboring Atlanta communities, Canopy West and Woodland Commons, clean, safe, and move-in ready. You'll split your time between grounds care and hands-on maintenance, including apartment turns, work orders, and general repairs. It's a great fit for someone who likes variety and is willing to help wherever and whenever needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Pick up and maintain the grounds at both communities, which are located close to one another.
• Complete work orders, including basic plumbing, appliance, and drywall repairs.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in, including punch lists and the make-ready turn process.
• Remove trash and debris from vacant units.
• Support preventive maintenance at both communities.
• Assist the maintenance team where needed, when needed.
• Treat all residents consistently and professionally, in line with Fair Housing requirements.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
