Job summary

Senior Resource Group, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Atlanta, GA to oversee day-to-day operations and maintain the property's assets under the direction of the Maintenance Director.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete all Work Order requests as assigned.
• Make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Maintain expense limits for operations.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost efficiency.
• Schedule and complete the Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
• Perform grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks.
• Carry out special projects as assigned.
• Must be able to paint; HVAC skills are preferred.

Essential Duties

• Responsible for the completion of all Work Order requests as assigned.
• Complete make-ready process of vacant apartments as directed by the Maintenance Director.
• Work within expense limits established.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
• Schedule and complete the "Preventative Maintenance Program".
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Director, which may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas and maintaining landscaping beds and other areas.
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.
• Must know howto paint.
• Prefer HVAC Skills.

• Less than high school education; or up toone yearrelated experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• As required by local and state regulating bodies.
