Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep community grounds safe, organized, and well-stocked with supplies. You will interact with residents, ensure timely service requests are completed, and support upkeep of community assets and grounds.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and coordination with management to deliver quality service and ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver's license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool operation experience are a plus.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and using tablets/devices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris.
• Complete all work timely while upholding safety standards.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and report findings to management.
• Aid in new home delivery and set-up and report warranty/follow-up work.
