Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep community grounds well-maintained, safe, and stocked with supplies. You will interact with residents, complete service requests, and assist with home refurbishments while following safety and OSHA standards.

The role requires driving, operating vehicles, and responding to after-hours calls. Experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or pool operation is a plus, with a preference for a high school diploma and OSHA trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid in-state driver’s license required.
• OSHA trainings or certifications are a plus.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or pool operation experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbishments.
• Keep community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and safe.
• Complete work promptly without compromising safety or quality.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters and identify and fix leaks where applicable.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Assist in new home delivery and setup and report warranty work.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Uphold OSHA standards and wear PPE as required.
• Operate company vehicles safely and maintain them.
