RHP Properties in Selbyville, DE, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general grounds maintenance and basic home repairs for the Shady Park community. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with duties across grounds, repairs, and resident interaction.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. A minimum of two years in maintenance is preferred, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to ensure homes and community areas are in proper condition.
• Execute work orders and report status to the Community Manager in a timely manner.
• Maintain community grounds: mow, weed control, plant beds, mulch and trim shrubs.
• Remove garbage from grounds and resident sites as needed.
• Perform snow removal and be available for on-call duties.
• Refurbish community-owned homes.
• Repair and maintain water and sewer lines.
• Follow safety laws and company policies.
