Job summary

Career Systems Development Corporation is seeking a maintenance worker to address general maintenance, janitorial, and grounds-keeping tasks at the center. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and timely response to work orders.

Responsibilities include carrying out building maintenance, operating the CMMS, and potentially transporting students as needed. A high school reading/writing level and a valid driver license are required; CPR/First Aid certification is possible.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write English at a high school level.
• Knowledge of maintenance methods and ability to follow instructions.
• Must have a valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Respond to general maintenance work orders throughout the center.
• Perform interior and exterior janitorial, building maintenance and grounds keeping tasks.
• Perform minor building construction tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of School Dude / Assets Essential work system (CMMS).
• Possibly work with Work Based Learning students.
• Mow lawns, maintain grounds, pick up trash.
• Care for plants, trees, and flowers.
• Possibly transport students to various sites.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good repair and stored properly.
• Change light bulbs and replace electrical cords as needed.
• Follow all center policies and procedures and operating procedures.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings; CPR and First Aid certifiable.
• Maintain a safe, zero-accident work environment.
• Enable equal opportunity in the workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
