Job summary

Hanover Community School Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician -- General to perform maintenance activities throughout school facilities and grounds. You will carry out repairs, landscaping, snow removal, and related tasks to keep buildings in productive use.

The role requires good communication, physical and mental ability to perform duties, and a high school diploma or GED. This is a full-time on-site position with responsibilities across multiple campus properties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities, buildings and grounds as assigned to ensure full and productive use.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, landscaping, lawns, and snow removal as needed.
• Operate and maintainTools, equipment and vehicles used in maintenance.
• Provide maintenance and safety recommendations to supervisors.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:

• A Maintenance Technician -- General will perform maintenance activities throughout School Corporation facilities, buildings and grounds as assigned to ensure full and productive use
• perform all assigned tasks related repairs, maintenance, landscaping, lawns, and snow removal
• appropriately operate and maintain tools, equipment and vehicles
• make maintenance and safety recommendations to supervisor(s)
• Other duties as assigned
