Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Manager with the general maintenance of the community and physical plant. You will work to keep operations safe, clean, and comfortable for residents and families.

The role is full-time, 8-4, with rotating weekends. Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, performing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural repairs, and outdoor tasks like irrigation and roofing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year certificate from college/technical school; or six months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to multitask and coordinate with outside contractors.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident and family requests for maintenance assistance.
• Follow directions to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural repairs.
• Perform exterior tasks such as irrigation, landscaping, pool maintenance (if applicable), hardscape, and roofing.
