Job summary

Hamilton Arms Center in Lancaster, PA is hiring a full-time Maintenance Assistant to work 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with every other weekend on call. You will perform repairs, diagnose issues across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, and promote safe work practices on-site.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year in maintenance preferred, valid driver’s license, and ability to use common tools. Benefits, daily pay option, and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year maintenance experience preferred.
• Handyman experience is preferred.
• Electrical and painting experience preferred.
• Basic arithmetic for measurements and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Receive work orders and complete repairs.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry issues.
• Follow safety standards and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with laws and codes.
• May supervise other staff or contractors.
• Operate snow removal equipment for parking areas.
