Job summary

St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham, MA is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a full-time role. The position reports to the Maintenance Director and focuses on keeping building systems and grounds in top condition to support residents and staff.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, basic carpentry and repairs on medical and kitchen equipment, snow removal, and assisting with installations. Candidate should have HS diploma and be comfortable using common hand tools; training provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate common hand tools.
• Experience with building maintenance preferred.
• Interest in working with elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building equipment.
• Do basic carpentry, painting, drywall, and refinishing work as needed.
• Repair hospital beds, lifts, stands, wheelchairs, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Assist with snow removal using appropriate equipment.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and upkeep of computers.
• Maintain equipment as necessary.
