Job summary

Moderate Income Management Company is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to keep our residential communities across New Jersey safe and well‑running. You will handle repairs, turnovers, preventive maintenance, and urgent responses, using mobile work order apps.

We value hands-on skills, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors as needed; a driver’s license may be required. Eligible employees can join company benefits programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential, multifamily or building maintenance experience.
• Safe use of hand and power tools and ladders.
• Comfortable using a smartphone and work order apps.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and flooring repairs.
• Get vacant apartments rent-ready (turnovers).
• Do preventive maintenance and inspections on building systems and common areas.
• Respond to leaks, outages, and other urgent issues, and escalate as needed.
• Log your work in our electronic work order system.
• Take part in on-call coverage, snow removal, and emergency response.

We're hiring skilled, dependable Maintenance Technicians to keep our residential communities in communities throughout New Jersey to keep them safe and running well.

What You'll Do

• Complete resident work orders for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and flooring repairs

What We're Looking For

• A driver's license and reliable transportation may be required
• Certifications are a plus
