Job summary

Moderate Income Management Company is seeking Maintenance Technicians to maintain residential communities across New Jersey in a full-time capacity. You will handle work orders for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, drywall, painting, and flooring, and ensure turnover readiness of vacant units.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, urgent issue response, logging work orders, and participating in on-call coverage and emergency response.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential, multifamily or building maintenance experience preferred.
• Safe, confident use of hand tools, power tools and ladders.
• Comfortable using a smartphone and work order apps.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors and outdoors.
• A driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and flooring repairs
• Get vacant apartments rent-ready (turnovers)
• Do preventive maintenance and inspections on building systems and common areas
• Respond to leaks, outages, and other urgent issues, and escalate them when needed
• Log your work in our electronic work order system
• Take part in on-call coverage, snow removal, and emergency response
