Job summary

Premier Development is seeking a reliable Residential Maintenance Technician to join our onsite community team in New Jersey. You will handle day-to-day repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and help keep our property looking great and running smoothly.

The role involves completing service requests, assisting with turnovers, and communicating with residents while maintaining safety standards in a vibrant, luxury residential setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in residential, apartment, or commercial building maintenance.
• Hands-on plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, drywall repair, and general maintenance.
• EPA/HVAC certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Work Orders: Complete daily resident service requests for general plumbing, basic electrical, light carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Preventative Maintenance: Inspect buildings, common areas, and mechanicals regularly to spot and fix minor issues before they become big problems.
• Turnovers: Assist in preparing vacant apartments for new residents (minor repairs, hardware replacement, safety checks).
• Resident Communication: Provide friendly, professional updates to residents while completing work orders in their homes.
• Safety & Standards: Maintain clean work areas, follow safety protocols, and ensure the community grounds are well-maintained.

• Availability: Willingness to participate in a shared, rotating on‑call schedule for after-hours emergencies. NOT EVERY WEEKEND - Great work/life balance.
