Responsibilities

• Performs building inspections, replacing parts, cleaning, and overseeing heating and plumbing, outdoor grounds & landscaping, and snow & ice removal.
• Performs basic carpentry and maintenance work for the facility and fixtures including painting, remodeling, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Performs routine repair and maintenance on machines and equipment such as beds, wheelchairs, kitchen equipment, furniture, or office equipment.
• Monitors, operates, inspects, repairs, tests and cleans equipment related to steam or chilled water, air handling systems, and sterilizers.
• Keeps work areas neat, completes preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, logs and records.

Keeps work areas neat and orderly.* Performs and manages preventative maintenance program of facility building, grounds, equipment, and vehicles.
