Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Van Buren, IN is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our growing food manufacturing facility. This hands-on role troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains production equipment to maximize uptime and support safe, efficient operations.

You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance, read schematics, work with PLCs, and document repairs in a CMMS while following OSHA, LOTO, GMP, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment required; food & beverage preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated equipment.
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems.
• Assist with PLC and controls troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Complete work orders and document repairs using a CMMS.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all OSHA, LOTO, GMP, and safety procedures.
