Job summary

MSI Express, INC in Batavia, IL seeks a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment per electrical diagrams and manuals. You will document work in CMMS, follow GMP and safety protocols, and support food safety and quality within your scope.

The role covers preventive maintenance, gearboxes, conveyors, welding, and electrical/control systems. Second shift 4:00 PM–2:00 AM with benefits like health, PTO, dental, vision and 401K matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional technical education preferred.
• Experience in industrial maintenance and electrical controls is expected.
• Familiarity with CMMS, PLCs, and safety procedures is required.
• Ability to read diagrams, manuals, and blueprints for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Document work orders and repairs in the CMMS on a mobile device.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, conveyors, sensors, and control panels.
• Weld and fabricate parts as needed for equipment repairs.
• Follow safety policies; train junior technicians and operators.
• Record damaged parts and ensure product quality and safety.
