Job summary

House-Autry Mills Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure safe and efficient operation of production equipment. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, part replacement, and electrical/apparatus installation while following safety guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of food manufacturing experience, strong electrical skills, and the ability to read schematics. Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing highly preferred.
• Strong electrical experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment with high and low voltage (10vac-480vac / 5vdc-90vdc).
• Knowledge of mechanical machinery functionality and repair.
• Commitment to learn operational standards and processes.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment to complete tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independent work capability.
• Able to manage multiple assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe, efficient operation of production equipment via preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoots problems by observing devices and using testing instruments.
• Removes and replaces defective parts using tools and hoists.
• Adjusts parts and control instruments to meet specs.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus and components.
• Maintains equipment by documenting actions and results.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment per regulations.
• Contributes to team effort and supports related tasks as needed.
