Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician Float to support our Idaho properties in Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Hayden. The role covers preventive maintenance, turns, and repairs across multiple sites to maintain safe, clean, and welcoming environments for residents and staff.

The position requires basic maintenance knowledge, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision, with a focus on timely, quality work across diverse properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of maintenance-related experience, but not required.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, painting, and basic maintenance practices.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds independently.
• Valid driver’s license preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work at multiple Idaho properties throughout Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Hayden as assigned.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including a general understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize work orders and manage multiple maintenance needs.
• Ability to adapt to different properties, teams, and daily priorities.
• General knowledge of environmental and industrial hazards as they relate to residential housing.
• Dependable, organized, and committed to providing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support at properties throughout Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Hayden as assigned.
• Complete apartment turns in a timely manner, preparing vacant units for new occupants.
• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance requests.
• Perform interior and exterior painting and touch-ups.
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances.
• Assist with general building and property maintenance.
• Maintain property grounds and help ensure a clean and welcoming appearance.
• Maintain the curb appeal of properties, clubhouses, amenities, common areas, and surrounding grounds.
• Assist maintenance teams with projects, repairs, and additional property needs.
• Track maintenance supplies and inventory.
• Maintain accurate work order documentation and filing.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, vendors, and management.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable maintenance practices.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician Float to join our team. This position provides maintenance support to our Idaho properties located throughout Post Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Hayden based on property and staffing needs.

The Maintenance Technician Float is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs with minimal supervision while helping maintain safe, clean, and well‑maintained environments for , guests, and employees. This position will complete a variety of service requests, apartment turns, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks while providing excellent service to our and supporting the overall appearance and operation of our properties.
