HB Specialty Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production lines running by maintaining machinery and facilities. Candidates should be organized, safety-minded, and capable of working on various equipment, with experience in mechanical and electrical systems.

The role supports line development, production, sanitation and related tasks. Candidates must meet high safety standards and be able to operate in a fast-paced environment with allergens present.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in a mechanical or maintenance role.
• Proficient with power and hand tools.
• Ability to read diagrams and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
• Ensure operation of machinery and equipment by completing preventative maintenance.
• Read and follow diagrams, manuals, and instructions; troubleshoot issues.
• Identify problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and provide timely solutions.
• Dismantle, examine, and repair defective equipment using tools.
• Minimize downtime by scheduling preventative maintenance with production managers.
• Assist in fabrication and repair using shop equipment.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; notify maintenance Manager when items are needed.
• Keep detailed logs of work performed and time spent; follow work orders.
• Follow all safety procedures and Lock-Out Tag-Out protocols.
• Contribute to team effort to maintain multiple production lines and communicate needs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
