Job summary

Channel Islands YMCA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance tasks, cleaning, and event setup to keep the facility running smoothly. You will oversee inventory, complete work orders, and support pool and exterior maintenance as trained.

Must be at least 21, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and obtain required certifications within 60 days. A California driver’s license and clean driving record are required for site operations and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete required certifications within 60 days of hire.
• Complete all trainings within two weeks of hire.
• Must maintain a valid California driver’s license and pass driving record checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance projects (painting, plumbing, carpentry) and preventative maintenance.
• Clean and sanitize facilities; perform mopping, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal.
• Manage supplies and inventory of consumables; restock as needed.
• Assist in setting up/cleaning after programs and events; close/open the facility.
