Job summary

Springfield Crossings is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep building systems running, perform repairs, and support a safe, resident-friendly environment. This PRN role is supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services and offers flexible hours to meet staffing needs.

Requirements include three years of general maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC), basic computer skills to document work orders, and a willingness to work day, evening, weekend, and holiday

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of general maintenance experience required (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades).
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required, including Word and Excel to document work orders.
• Strong knowledge of building equipment, systems, and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend system longevity.
• Maintain knowledge of building systems, equipment, and applicable building codes and regulations.
• Utilize basic computer systems (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, or similar platforms) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and communicate updates.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
