Job summary

University Health System is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our team at our San Antonio facilities. Responsibilities include performing diverse levels of maintenance on buildings and utilities systems, and ensuring compliance with safety codes.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in two or more building/mechanical crafts, a valid Texas Class C driver's license with a clean MVR, and preferably two additional years in related crafts.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school/GED or equivalent experience is required.
• One year's experience in two or more building and/or mechanical crafts such as plumbing, electricity or engine mechanics is required.
• A valid Texas State driver's license "Class C" and must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Two year's experience in two or more building crafts such as plumbing, electrical wiring or steam is preferred

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes various levels of maintenance by maintaining buildings and various utilities systems and services.
• Repairs mechanical equipment in compliance with building and safety codes throughout the facilities of the University Health System.
