Job summary

University Health System is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our team in San Antonio. The role involves maintaining buildings and utilities systems and repairing mechanical equipment in accordance with safety codes across facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of experience in two or more building/mechanical crafts, and a valid Texas Class C driver’s license with a clean MVR. A preference for 2+ years in multiple crafts is noted.

What you will do:

• Repairs mechanical equipment in compliance with building and safety codes throughout the facilities of the University Health System.

What we require:

• Graduation from high school/GED or equivalent experience is required.
• One year's experience in two or more building and/or mechanical crafts such as plumbing, electricity or engine mechanics is required.
• A valid Texas State driver's license "Class C" and must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Two year's experience in two or more building crafts such as plumbing, electrical wiring or steam is preferred
