Job summary

CBRE's GlobalWorkplace Solutions Local team in New York seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium buildings, industrial systems and equipment. This role provides support, preventive maintenance and repairs under supervision.

You will perform routine inspections, diagnose issues, assist with installation and modification, review work orders, support energy management, and ensure safety compliance while contributing to service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

About The Role

Asa CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small tomedium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part ofthe Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible forproviding support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment andsystems.

What You’ll Do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical,and other building systems.

• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under closesupervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need
