Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Enterprise, AL plant. You’ll be the first line of response for equipment issues, performing inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and carrying out preventive and emergency repairs on the production floor.

You must be able to move quickly to breakdowns and safety concerns, ensuring efficient, compliant operation. The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 1+ year in maintenance; welding and electrical

Qualifications

• In-depth ability to multitask and respond to multiple issues quickly.
• Basic welding and electrical understanding preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify and apply standard symbols used in industrial documentation.
• Diagnose and repair drive-related issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot bearing failures.
• Assist in motor testing, diagnostics, and basic repairs.
• Analyze and troubleshoot electrical circuits using Ohm’s Law and Kirchhoff’s Laws.
• Safely use multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
• Execute welding operations following safety and quality standards.
• Interpret welding symbols and apply appropriate techniques for repairs and fabrication.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the Maintenance and Plant Operations Team
