Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in building maintenance/janitorial duties.
• Experience with homeless populations and mental health/substance abuse context preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facility cleanliness and removes debris and garbage.
• Disposes/recycles waste per NYC regulations.
• Performs basic maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Cleans and sanitizes building areas and floors; strips and waxes floors; washes windows.
• Operates and monitors building systems, CCTV, and alarms; reports issues to supervisor.
