Job summary

Symphony Care Network, LLC. Linden is seeking a compassionate Maintenance Assistant to support the maintenance team in keeping the facility clean, safe and well-maintained. You will follow directions from the Maintenance Supervisor and work to ensure the building and grounds meet safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes regular inspections, routine repairs, and on-call weekend availability, contributing to a positive, professional environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in a maintenance department/position.
• Healthcare facility experience is advantageous but not required.
• Reliable and prompt; on-call every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the facility regularly to ensure grounds, facilities and equipment are maintained per policies and procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on facility and equipment (plastering, mechanical repairs).
• Maintain grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner per applicable standards and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment.
• Seasonal maintenance duties on the grounds as required.
