Symphony Care Network is seeking a compassionate and driven Maintenance Technician to join our skilled nursing and assisted living community. The role supports the Maintenance Supervisor in general upkeep of the building and grounds, ensuring a safe, clean environment for residents and staff.

• At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance role.
• Healthcare facility experience is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Reliable, prompt and able to work on-call every other weekend.

Responsabilités

• Inspect facility grounds, building, and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plastering and mechanical tasks.
• Keep facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Assist with seasonal grounds upkeep and other duties as assigned.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and team on repairs.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for taking direction from the Maintenance Supervisor in general maintenance and repair of the building and grounds. This position works directly with other members of the maintenance team to ensure the building is kept clean and free of hazards. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential Functions

• Inspect the facility on a regular basis to ensure the grounds, facility and equipment are maintained according to the facility policies and procedures
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plastering and mechanical repairs
• Maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Assists in maintaining a clean, comfortable and safe environment.
• All-seasons maintenance required on the grounds - different outside duties will be required given the season of the year.

Requirements

Employment Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience in a maintenance department/position
• Experience in a healthcare facility would be advantageous but not required
• A valid Driver's License
• Reliable and Prompt
• Ability to work and be on-call every other weekend
