A-1 Industries of Florida, Fort Pierce, FL is seeking a dependable Industrial Maintenance Technician to support upkeep and repair of our facility, equipment, and building systems. This hands-on role fits someone who is detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate with subcontractors for larger projects.

Competenze

• Minimum 1-year industrial maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance/engineering a plus.

A-1 Industries is seeking a dependable an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and repair of our facility, equipment, and building systems. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues related to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Inspect facility, equipment, and appliances to ensure proper functionality

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance or related experience required
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Education and Experience

• Minimum 1-year industrial maintenance experience
• High school diploma or GED required.
• An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance/engineering a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times.
• Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
• Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• Non-exempt position
• Full-Time
• Day and Night shift schedules
• Day shift: Monday - Friday, 5:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Saturday, 5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
• Night shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
• On call availability
