Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a maintenance technician to preserve mechanical, chemical, refrigeration, and electrical systems across the plant, driven by work orders and daily priorities. You will support production initiatives and ensure safety compliance with a strong safety mindset.

You will operate hand and powered tools, interpret drawings, and perform preventative maintenance using the CMMS system. A background related to ATF explosives is required, with emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Trade School or applicable Military Training preferred.
• 5+ years experience in a maintenance capacity required.
• Knowledge of electrical systems including basic repair and troubleshooting of single phase and 3 phase circuits and AC/DC circuitry.
• Knowledge of welding tools including TIG, GMAW, SMAW desired.
• Ability to keep accurate records both written and electronically.
• Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives.
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the mechanical, chemical, refrigeration, and electrical systems per work orders or day-to-day activities.
• Support plant initiatives and ensure participation from all areas of responsibility (such as HRO).
• Maintain and execute preventative maintenance tasks and daily work orders using the plant CMMS system.
• Use hand and portable powered tools and read engineering drawings as needed.
• Work from heights using ladders, platforms, or man-lifts with proper PPE and fall-protection.
