Center Point Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform routine preventative maintenance, assist with furniture and equipment moves, test equipment, alarms, and safety systems, and support environmental and safety activities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and maintenance experience; familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler and chiller operations is preferred; nursing home experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler and chiller operations preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor and building repairs.
• Performs preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Assists with routine testing of equipment, alarms, safety systems.
• Completes exterior maintenance and supports environmental and safety activities.
