Job summary

Family Tree Nursery is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our operations by troubleshooting equipment, performing routine upkeep, and collaborating with team members to keep our properties in top condition. The role requires a can-do attitude and readiness to assist other departments as demand changes.

Candidates should have basic horticultural knowledge, be able to operate pallet jacks and other equipment, and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

Basic horticultural and product knowledge.
Ability to operate pallet jack, forklift, skid steer, cart tug or other equipment with a clean driving record.
Must be 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

Work in varied weather conditions including hot, humid, cold or wet and direct sun exposure.
Lift, carry, and maneuver items up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
Work on surfaces such as gravel, concrete, mud, dirt, etc.
Be available to work agreed upon schedule.
Stand and walk for extended periods with breaks as required by law.
Operate effectively in a fast-paced setting with multiple teams.
Collaborate with a core group to achieve common goals.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities.
Execute tasks as assigned by leadership.
Load and unload trucks and deliveries.
Perform any other duties as assigned by store leadership.
