Job summary

Entegris in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment and facility infrastructure. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support process improvements while focusing on safety and uptime.

The role requires reading mechanical/electrical drawings, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts, with potential for involvement in capital projects and equipment upgrades.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or technical degree with maintenance experience.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Detail-oriented with good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and project-management mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on production and facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and document work performed.
• Disassemble and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures.
• Use diagnostic tools and schematics for calibration and repair.
• Identify PM improvements to reduce failures and support capital projects.
• Collaborate with team and support site infrastructure maintenance.
• Ensure safety procedures and healthy working conditions are maintained.
