Job summary

Toray CMA in Tacoma, WA is seeking an entry-level Technician Maintenance (MAIN0TECH) to maintain and repair plant equipment, machinery and facilities. The role requires reading blueprints, following manuals, and using a range of hand tools and testing equipment.

A two-year technical certificate with HS diploma or GED is preferred, with export-control compliance applicable. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, parts ordering, and collaboration with contractors.

Qualifications

HS diploma or GED and 2-year technical certificate or equivalent experience required.
2+ years practical maintenance work experience (or equivalent).
U.S. export control regulations apply; must be a U.S. Person.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, machines, plant and facilities.
Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, electrical circuits, mechanical systems, etc.
Repair machinery and equipment according to manuals and procedures.
Order parts for equipment, machinery, building and facilities.
Rebuild and/or fabricate parts as appropriate.
Provide general plant and facility maintenance and repairs.
